📚 Read & Retreat at Windsor Library
The Friends of the Library invite you to our very first Read & Retreat — an exclusive evening of quiet reading, cozy ambiance, and calm connection.
On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the Windsor Library will transform into a tranquil oasis, complete with curated reading nooks, drink and snack delivery (yes, wine included), and moments to simply unwind with a good book.
Evening Flow
5:30 PM – Arrive, settle into your reserved nook, and mingle with fellow readers.
6:00 PM – Quiet reading begins with snacks and drinks brought right to you.
7:30 PM – Optional stroll and book swap.
8:00 PM – Return to your nook for more intentional reading.
9:30 PM – Wrap up and carry the calm home with you.
Nook Options – From group parlors to intimate corners, each spot offers a unique atmosphere:
- Group Parlors: Breezy Beach, Forbidden Forest, Botanical Wonders
- Small Dens: Camp Cozy, Time Traveler
- Individual Nooks: Literary Lounge, In the Stacks, Cozy Corner, Window View, Fireside
